Emirates has unveiled its first Airbus A350-900 at a showcase event in Dubai. The ceremony was led by Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, and attended by UAE Minister of Economy His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, alongside other VIP guests. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the aircraft's new interiors and advanced technologies.

The A350 features three cabin classes: Business Class with 32 lie-flat seats, Premium Economy with 21 seats, and Economy Class accommodating 259 passengers. "Today is an exciting milestone for Emirates as we showcase our first A350," said His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group.

Phillipe Mhun from Airbus expressed pride in expanding their partnership with Emirates: “We are proud to further expand our strategic partnership with Emirates.” Omar Ali Adib from Rolls-Royce highlighted the collaboration between the companies: “The collaborative effort between Emirates, Airbus and Rolls-Royce exemplifies what can be achieved when we share a commitment to excellence.”

Emirates plans to launch its first commercial A350 flight to Edinburgh on January 3, 2025. Additional destinations include Bahrain, Muscat, Kuwait, Lyon, Bologna, Colombo, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
