Marriott International and Sotheby's have announced the continuation of their partnership to offer luxury auction experiences. The initiative, titled "Iconic Pieces. Extraordinary Experiences," was initially launched earlier this year, with new experiences set to debut in December.

George Hammer, Marriott's global head of luxury marketing, commented on the collaboration: "The expansion of our brand partnership with Sotheby's reflects our common belief that true luxury combines both the tangible and intangible." He emphasized that the partnership aims to explore the intersection of art and travel through unique experiences.

Two new experiences will soon be available for auction. The first, "Geneva Grandmasters: A Watchmaking Odyssey Curated by The Ritz-Carlton," will be part of Sotheby's Important Watch sales on December 6. This marks Marriott's first live auction offering. It includes a horology immersion at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix in Geneva with Girard-Perregaux experts, featuring workshops with watch artisans and a private culinary experience.

The second experience is titled "A Taste of France: An Epicurean Voyage Curated by The Luxury Collection." Online bidding is open until December 10. This package includes a stay at Prince de Galles in Paris and various culinary journeys such as a guided trip to Champagne.

Eléonore Dethier, Sotheby's global head of partnerships, stated: "This collaboration represents a unique fusion of Sotheby's expertise in curating exceptional luxury collectibles and the Luxury Group's unparalleled approach to hospitality."

Further opportunities from this collaboration are expected to be announced in 2025.
