Qatar Airways ranks as the 41st largest operator by flights this winter, with a significant contribution from its narrowbody aircraft. The airline has more flights than any other Middle Eastern carrier except Saudia, which benefits from a robust domestic market that Qatar lacks. When focusing solely on international flights, Qatar Airways stands at 10th place globally, according to OAG data.

The oneworld alliance member plans to serve 172 destinations from its Doha hub this winter season. New and returning routes include Abha in Saudi Arabia, Bhairahawa/Siddharthanagar in Nepal (served only in November), and Toronto. The airline will resume services to Toronto on December 11 with a three-times-weekly Boeing 777-300ER operation, adding it to Montreal as part of its Canadian network.

On average, Qatar Airways offers 278 seats per take-off across its network. The Boeing 777-300ER accounts for more departures than any other aircraft type or variant. The average flight distance is approximately 2,399 nautical miles (4,443 km), with Doha-Bahrain being the shortest route and Doha-Auckland the longest.

India leads with the most destinations served by Qatar Airways at 13, followed by the United States and Saudi Arabia with 11 each. However, India's lower frequencies and reliance on narrowbodies mean it ranks fourth in terms of total flights operated by Qatar Airways. Saudi Arabia tops this list, followed by the UK and the US.

In January figures show that destinations are served an average of 12 times weekly: "Some 128 destinations have daily+ flights," while "59 are double daily+, 27 are triple daily+, and 14 are four daily+." Seven routes feature five or more daily departures: London Heathrow (eight), Bangkok (seven), Abu Dhabi (five), Colombo (five), Dubai (five), Jeddah (five), and Riyadh (five).

Among its least-served routes this winter are several Iranian cities—Isfahan, Mashhad, and Shiraz—which will return in January after suspensions due to regional conflicts. Other less frequent routes include:

- Doha-Abha: twice-weekly A320ceo

- Doha-Addis Ababa: three times weekly using various aircraft

- Doha-Al-Ula: twice-weekly A320ceo

- And others listed similarly

Qatar Airways continues to demonstrate strength through its extensive network coverage despite some lesser-served routes receiving limited attention.
