The Dubai Airshow, the largest event of its kind in the region, is set to return in 2025 with more than 200 aircraft expected to be on display. This figure surpasses the 192 aircraft showcased at the previous edition in 2023. Organizers have so far confirmed around 60 aircraft for this year’s show, which represents about a quarter of the anticipated total.

Among the confirmed participants are major industry names such as Airbus and Emirates, who will present a variety of commercial, military, and business jets. The initial list includes models like the Airbus A350-1000, A220-300, A400M, H225 helicopter, and ACJ320 business jet. Emirates Airline is set to display its Airbus A350, A380, Boeing 777, Diamond DA42 NG, and GameBird GB1 aerobatic aircraft.

Other notable exhibitors include Bombardier with its C3500 and G7500 business jets; COMAC with ARJ21 and C919 commercial planes; Dassault featuring Falcon 6X and Falcon 8X; Embraer with KC390 military transport and E2 series commercial jets; Flydubai’s Boeing 737 Max 8; Joby Aviation’s VCA eVTOL; Leonardo’s AW139 helicopter; Pilatus Aircraft Ltd’s PC-24 business jet; Rafale military aircraft; Textron’s Sky Courier and AT6 military trainer; and Vista’s Global 7500.

Despite these announcements, several regular participants have not yet been listed. In past years, other UAE carriers such as Etihad Airways and Air Arabia have also brought aircraft to the show. Etihad could potentially use this opportunity to present its new Airbus A321LRs.

There is also uncertainty regarding Boeing's participation with its own test aircraft. While airlines have brought Boeing planes to recent airshows, Boeing itself did not bring test models to Farnborough in 2024 or Paris in 2025. The company made headlines at previous Dubai Airshows by debuting the Boeing 777X in 2021—a highlight that continued into later editions. Recent activity spotted by Instagram account @b777xlovers indicates that a Boeing 777X test plane has been conducting airshow rehearsals at Moses Lake in Washington state. This could suggest plans for another appearance at Dubai. The timing is notable as Emirates’ delivery schedule for the Boeing 777X has recently been delayed again from an original target of 2020 to now expected in 2027.

Organizers expect further announcements as the event approaches. Updates will be provided as additional aircraft are confirmed for participation.
