Air Transat has announced its Summer 2025 flight schedule, which includes a new route to Spain. This addition increases the airline's destinations in Spain to four, more than any other Canadian carrier. The company is also expanding its flights to Orlando due to what it describes as "growing popularity" and enhancing connections between Canada and various countries including the Netherlands, Switzerland, Peru, England, France, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Cuba.
The airline will provide over 275 weekly non-stop flights to more than 40 destinations from its primary bases in Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City.
This summer saw Air Transat operating flights from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Quebec (YQB) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), along with services from YUL to Orlando International Airport (MCO). The company plans to increase the number of flights on the Orlando route from up to 10 per week this year to 14 by summer 2025. "In addition, two flight frequencies will be added on certain days to provide travellers with greater flexibility," the company stated.
