Air New Zealand has introduced new features and partnerships to enhance its Airpoints loyalty program, benefiting its 4.7 million members. Since the launch of a revamped online experience in August, the airline has aimed to improve member offerings.

Kate O'Brien, General Manager Loyalty at Air New Zealand, stated: "Over the past few months, we've rolled out updates to bring even more perks to our members. With new partnerships like Everyday Rewards, enhanced earning potential in the Airpoints Store, and platform upgrades, we're ensuring members have more opportunities to rack up Airpoints Dollars at every turn."

The airline is also working on introducing a new tier for frequent fliers. Recent updates include expanded options for earning and spending rewards.

The Airpoints Store is holding its largest Black Friday sale with over 13,000 products discounted by 10-40%. Notable deals include a Smeg Espresso Coffee Machine at 65% off and Sony WF-1000XM5 Wireless Earbuds at 30% off.

A campaign promoting Shairpoints allows members to pool their Airpoints Dollars with up to ten friends or family members. This feature aims to make travel goals more achievable.

Starting December 2nd, Everyday Rewards points can be converted into Airpoints Dollars at a rate of 2,000 points for 15 dollars. Members can also earn rewards while shopping in the Airpoints Store.

O'Brien commented: "These updates to the Airpoints programme are all about enhancing the value and experience for our loyal members." The company plans further announcements in 2025.
