From March 30, 2025, Lufthansa will offer travelers the opportunity to book flights with its new cabin configuration, Lufthansa Allegris, on long-haul routes. The initial routes for booking Allegris seats include flights from Munich to Shanghai, San Francisco, and Chicago. More destinations will be gradually added in the weeks and months following.

In Business Class, Classic Seat reservations remain free of charge and provide all the benefits of the new Allegris travel class. Passengers can also reserve seats with additional comfort features such as the Business Class Suite, Extra Space Seat, Privacy Seat by the window, and Extra Long Bed with a reclining area of 2.20 meters for an extra fee. The Privacy Seat and Extra Long Bed are available from 100 euros, while the Extra Space Seat starts at 130 euros.

The Lufthansa Business Class Suite offers features like higher walls, sliding doors, extended personal space, and a monitor measuring up to 68 centimeters. This option can be booked in advance starting at 400 euros. Economy Class passengers have the option to reserve a seat with more legroom for as little as 50 euros.

First Class suites can still be reserved in advance without charge. However, there is a surcharge starting from 1900 euros if guests wish to reserve the large Suite Plus for single use. The Suite Plus allows maximum comfort for individual guests or offers the unique option of traveling together with a partner in a suite. First Class guests can make these bookings exclusively via the First Class Hotline at special rates.

Lufthansa's most loyal customers enjoy significant benefits; up to 80 percent of seat options in Business Class may be selected free of charge depending on their status.

The Allegris Business Class recently received recognition by winning the German Design Award 2024.
