Emirates has announced the renewal of its partnership with Tennis Australia, extending its role as the Official Airline of the Australian Open until 2029. This agreement marks a decade-long collaboration between Emirates and Tennis Australia, highlighting their commitment to supporting local sporting events.

Starting in 2025, Emirates will also collaborate with the Australian Tennis Foundation (ATF) on initiatives funded by the airline's 'Force for Good' programme. The initiative aims to inspire disadvantaged children and young people through tennis, with a $2.25 million investment over five years. It will be launched in five key Australian cities, focusing on providing free tennis programs that promote physical and mental wellbeing while fostering essential life skills.

Barry Brown, Emirates’ Divisional Vice President Australasia, stated: “Our five-year renewal with Tennis Australia on top of an existing decade-long partnership is another demonstration of Emirates’ longstanding commitment to Australia." He added that this year's efforts extend beyond the court through the 'Force for Good' programme.

Vicki Reid, Executive Director of the Australian Tennis Foundation, commented: “We are excited to join forces with Emirates to support social impact initiatives across Australia.”

The airline’s sponsorship portfolio includes all four Grand Slams and other tournaments through its ATP partnership. Additionally, it supports social impact initiatives in the UK and US alongside Wimbledon and the United States Tennis Association.

Emirates offers three daily services between Melbourne and Dubai and has been serving Australia for nearly three decades. The airline facilitates significant passenger travel as well as cargo transport crucial for economic exchanges between UAE and Australia.

Emirates continues its cultural sponsorships in Australia beyond sports, including partnerships with arts organizations like the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
