SWISS is highlighting culinary innovation by serving the creations of 2024 Marmite Youngster Awards winners on its long-haul flights and in select lounges from December 4, 2024, to March 4, 2025. The airline aims to promote new talents and present their ideas to an international audience.

The Marmite culinary magazine has been recognizing young talent in Switzerland's gastronomy scene since 2011. SWISS First and Business travelers will enjoy meals crafted by chef Fabio Vulcano and pastry chef Jonathan Pichler, with wines selected by sommelière Martina Wilhelm. In Zurich Airport's SWISS First Lounge, guests can savor an Alpine Breeze Mule aperitif and amuse-bouche created by Lynn-Ann Meier.

“These Marmite Youngsters are bringing a fresh wind and bold ideas aboard, all in the finest quality – which fits perfectly with who we are and what we do,” said Julia Hillenbrand, Head of SWISS Brand Experience. “At SWISS we are all about innovation, quality and Swiss hospitality. And this latest collaboration shows just how exciting the combination can be of our vision of air travel and the talents of tomorrow.”

“Our partnership with SWISS enables our young talents to offer their culinary visions to a wider audience,” added Massimo Angelone, Sales Director at marmite. “And it’s a particular honor for us to have the winners of our Marmite Youngster Awards present their creations at such a top quality level.”

SWISS First guests can choose from dishes like veal ossobuco with yuzu jus or cod with Oona caviar. Dessert options include buckwheat mousse with sea buckthorn compote. Business Class travelers have choices like brasato with creamy polenta or 'pure Swiss alpine perch'. Premium Economy passengers will experience a menu featuring Swiss regional specialties.

SWISS continues its 'SWISS Taste of Switzerland' program in collaboration with gategourmet, inviting chefs to create regional dishes served on long-haul flights. Gategourmet ensures high-quality meal delivery as part of gategroup.
