DJ Khaled, a prominent music producer and creator, has expanded his ventures beyond the music industry. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 26, 1975, Khaled found early success as a radio host in the 1990s. His career led him to work with several hip-hop groups such as Terror Squad. DJ Khaled produced popular albums like "We Global" and "Victory," which reached the top ten of the Billboard 200 and included hits like "All I Do Is Win."

His subsequent releases, "Major Key" and "Grateful," topped the Billboard 200 leaderboard. Over his career, Khaled has earned nearly 50 nominations at the BET Hip Hop Awards with 13 wins and ten Grammy Award nominations, securing one win. He also boasts several BET Awards and American Music Awards.

Khaled's interests extend to literature with his book "The Keys: A Memoir," a New York Times bestseller. His ventures have contributed to a net worth exceeding $100 million. This financial success enables him to own and operate a business jet.

Currently, DJ Khaled operates a Bombardier Global 6500 registered as N608BD. JetSpy notes that this aircraft was first produced in 2020 with serial number 2020. Although TVPX Aircraft Solutions is listed as the official owner by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DJ Khaled is recognized as its main operator.

According to JetSpy data from 2024, Khaled flew this aircraft over 75 times for approximately 143 flight hours, consuming more than 75,000 gallons of jet fuel resulting in about 732 metric tons of carbon emissions. The most frequented airports for these flights include Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF) in Florida, Westchester County Airport (HPN) in New York, and Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey.

The Bombardier Global Express series began after Bombardier acquired Canadair in 1986 aiming for longer-range aircraft development. The first prototype flew in October 1996 and achieved type certification by July 1998 with official introduction by July 1999.

The Global Express family includes upgraded variants like the Global 6500 featuring enhanced engines and interiors with state-of-the-art Nuage seats along with aerodynamic wing improvements. Announced alongside the shorter Global 5500 variant in May 2018, it received Transport Canada certification by September of that year followed by its first delivery in October.

Design features of the Global 6500 include an extended fuselage for increased cabin size divided into three zones accommodating up to seventeen passengers. It incorporates a forward galley or crew rest area among other options within its dimensions: six feet two inches height; seven feet eleven inches width; forty-three feet three inches length.

Powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710 Pearl engines providing over fifteen thousand pounds thrust each coupled with Bombardier Vision flight deck avionics suite featuring Combined Vision System - achieving typical cruise speed at four hundred eighty-seven knots covering ranges up till six thousand six hundred nautical miles reaching service ceiling heights fifty-one thousand feet while maintaining maximum takeoff weight ninety-nine thousand five hundred pounds across ninety-four-foot wingspan overall measuring ninety-nine foot five inch long twenty-five foot six inch tall frame specifications entirely.
