Vietjet has added a new Airbus A321neo ACF to its fleet, marking the airline's 111th aircraft. The plane arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City from Airbus’s factory in Hamburg, Germany. This model includes 240 seats, an increase from the standard 220 due to the Airbus Cabin Flex configuration. It is noted for reducing fuel consumption and emissions by up to 20% and noise levels by up to 50%.

To celebrate these milestones, Vietjet announced a special promotion on December 12, 2024, offering flights from Australia to Vietnam for AUD 199 one-way. The travel period extends from January 1 to October 25, 2025. Customers can book this offer using the promo code VJ12.

Vietjet plans to receive three more aircraft this December and will wet-lease six to ten planes temporarily during the Lunar New Year holiday to meet increased travel demand.
