Aer Lingus is expanding its route offerings from Cork Airport with two new seasonal routes to Bilbao and Bordeaux. The Irish airline will begin operations for these routes in April and May of next year.
The first route, heading to Bilbao Airport in northern Spain, will start on April 16th. Aer Lingus plans to operate this route three times a week, specifically on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Passengers can travel at introductory fares starting at €59.99 ($63.04). Tara Finn from Cork Airport expressed enthusiasm about the new service: "[The] announcement of two new Aer Lingus services is superb news and is warmly welcomed."
A month later, on May 15th, Aer Lingus will launch its second summer seasonal route to Bordeaux Mérignac Airport in France. This service will continue until September 13th and run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Like the Bilbao route, fares for Bordeaux also begin at €59.99.
