Delta Air Lines has inaugurated its new Delta One Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport. This marks the airline's third such lounge, following openings in New York and Los Angeles earlier this year. A fourth lounge is planned for Seattle early next year.

The 6,700 square foot facility opened on December 12th and can be accessed through the Delta Sky Club in Boston's Concourse E near Gate 13. The menu, crafted by chef Ed Brown, emphasizes a high-end culinary experience with seafood options like warm Maine lobster roll and octopus carpaccio, as well as non-seafood dishes. An extensive drinks menu complements the food offerings.

The interior design draws inspiration from Boston's maritime history with features like a sail ceiling and ship-like bar design. The color scheme includes blue and bronze accents, reflecting both nautical themes and Boston's academic heritage.

The lounge offers Wellness and Relaxation areas shared with the Delta Sky Club, including a shower suite and Grown Alchemist personal care products. Despite its smaller size compared to other locations, it provides a unique atmosphere.

Operating hours are limited from 14:00 to 21:00, while the adjacent Delta Sky Lounge operates from 05:00 to 01:00. Access is reserved for Delta One customers, equivalent cabin class passengers with partner airlines, and Delta 360 members traveling on a first-class ticket.

Eligible passenger classes include Air France La Premiere and Business Class (Long-Haul), LATAM Premium Business Class, KLM Business Class, Korean Air First Class and Prestige Class, and Virgin Atlantic Upper Class.

Paid access is available for Delta 360 members in Delta One or First Class who can bring immediate family or up to two companion guests for $100 or 10,000 miles per person. Claude Roussel of Delta commented on the distinctiveness of each lounge:

"No two Delta One Lounges are alike – with each new space, we strive to create something truly special and distinct to the host city while never compromising on service or quality."

Delta aims to enhance its premium lounge offerings compared to rivals American Airlines' Flagship Lounges and United Airlines' Polaris Lounges. Following successful launches in New York and Los Angeles this year, further expansions are planned for Seattle-Tacoma in early 2025 and Salt Lake City thereafter.
