The Business Platinum Card from American Express has introduced a new benefit, adding up to $200 in Hilton statement credits per calendar year. This development was highlighted by Frequent Miler.

Cardholders can now receive up to $200 annually, distributed as $50 per quarter, when they make purchases directly with Hilton properties using their Amex Business Platinum card. Eligible expenses include room rates and incidental charges such as dining, room service, and spa treatments.

To access this benefit, cardmembers must enroll in the program and have a Hilton for Business membership. Those not currently participating will be registered upon enrollment. This addition places the Business Platinum alongside other American Express cards like the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card and Hilton Honors American Express Business Card that also offer quarterly Hilton credits.

Unlike the benefits on the Surpass and Amex Business cards that require enrollment with American Express alone, this new credit requires enrollment with Hilton for Business as well. Reports suggest that certain purchases might trigger the credit even without staying at a hotel, including gift store purchases at Hilton properties, dining at their restaurants, and online gift card purchases.

For those interested in maximizing these credits, resources are available detailing optimal usage strategies. The enhancement adds value to the Amex Business Platinum card beyond its $695 annual fee.

Current cardholders are encouraged to log into their accounts to enroll in this benefit and sign up for Hilton for Business. Prospective members may find this an opportune time to apply due to increased travel-related perks.

More information about the card is available through reviews or by applying directly via provided links.
