Kuwait Airways is set to increase its service between Kuwait and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport next summer. The airline has filed an updated schedule indicating that it will operate seven weekly flights on this route, using its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The daily flights are scheduled to commence on March 30, 2025, following a week of four weekly itineraries. This change aligns with the end of the International Air Transport Association's winter season on the same date. The summer schedule, running until October 26, 2025, will see Kuwait Airways maintaining daily flights from Kuwait to New York-JFK. This marks an increase from the previous year when the airline operated four weekly flights on this route.

Data available until November 2025 suggests that Kuwait Airways intends to continue its daily service into that month.

New York-JFK remains the only U.S. destination for Kuwait Airways, which has been operating flights on this route for several decades. In the early 2000s, the airline also flew to Chicago O'Hare International Airport but ceased operations there in October 2005.

In June 2025, during peak summer season, Kuwait Airways plans to operate 93 weekly long-haul flights with its widebody aircraft to various destinations worldwide. These include countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council and regions such as Egypt, Lebanon, and Turkey.

Kuwait Airways' fleet comprises four A330-800s, one A330-900, ten 777-300ERs, eight A320ceos, and nine A320neos. Additionally, it operates private aircraft likely used by government officials.

The airline recently added an A330-900 to its fleet on December 10 as part of a revised purchase agreement initially started in 2014.
