Collins Aerospace has announced enhancements to its avionics systems for Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft. The upgrades apply to the Pro Line 21 and Pro Line Fusion systems, used in Beechcraft King Air variants and several Hawker aircraft. These improvements include performance system changes and new safety features.

Nathan Voight, Vice President and General Manager of Business and Regional Avionics at Collins Aerospace, commented on the updates: "Collins' flight deck modernization program provides pilots with the intuitive and responsive flight deck performance needed to operate in ever-evolving and complex global airspaces. The Pro Line updates were designed with the end user in mind, focusing on advanced functionality to make flight simpler, safer, and more connected."

A significant update allows Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 aircraft to transition from the Pro Line 21 system to the Pro Line Fusion flight deck. For those already using the Pro Line Fusion system, upgrades include touchscreen displays, communication tools, integrated synthetic vision, and simplified flight planning. These features aim to reduce pilot workload and enhance situational awareness.

Further upgrades are available for the Pro Line 21 system as well. This system is installed on many Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 series aircraft, as well as Hawker 750, Hawker 800, and Hawker 900 series jets. Enhancements include a digital cockpit with high-resolution displays.

The Hawker series jets are known for their specifications such as length of approximately 51 feet two inches across models like the Hawker 750 and cruise speeds ranging from 400 knots for some models up to 430 knots for others. Similarly, Beechcraft King Air models offer maximum takeoff weights between 12,500 pounds (King Air 200) to 14,000 pounds (King Air 300), with service ceilings reaching up to 35,000 feet.
