Servair partners with Afpa for specialized catering training

Servair has announced a collaboration with Afpa (Association pour la Formation Professionnelle des Adultes) to develop a specialized training program tailored for the high-end catering industry. This initiative is overseen by Corporate Chef François Adamski and Servair's centralized recruitment unit, offering participants an opportunity to enhance their skills within the company.

The program targets two main groups: employees not currently assigned to kitchen roles who wish to transition into this sector, and current kitchen staff seeking to advance their skills. Two 12-month sandwich courses have been created to address these needs:

- For new recruits, the Commis de cuisine vocational qualification at CAP level.

- For existing staff, the Certificate of Professional Competence (CCP) in "cooking, preparing and serving culinary preparations," which leads to the professional qualification of Chef de partie in culinary arts and pastry-making.

Training is conducted on a sandwich basis at both the Afpa training center in Stains, which features professional kitchens that simulate real working conditions, and various Servair production units for comprehensive on-the-job experience.

"This partnership enables us to guarantee the operational excellence of our services while retaining our talent, and also to strengthen our role as a responsible employer and trainer."
