American Airlines has confirmed the return of espresso drinks on select flights, extending the service to business class passengers for the first time. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance passenger experience on international and premium transcontinental routes.

Espresso machines are now available on Boeing 777-200 aircraft, expanding beyond their traditional use in first-class cabins on Airbus A321T and Boeing 777-300ER jets. The airline also offers these drinks on its Boeing 787s.

The service was initially halted during the COVID-19 pandemic and had not been available to business-class passengers until now. The availability spans across Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300, 787, and A321T planes.

According to Clint Henderson from The Points Guy, "It's nice to see additional service touches added as we await new cabins coming soon from American." The airline plans to replace its first-class cabin with an upgraded business-class cabin that will increase premium seating on all Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Additionally, American Airlines will soon receive Airbus A321XLRs featuring new Flagship Business cabins.

This enhancement aligns with American Airlines' ongoing efforts to improve its services and accommodate more passengers with premium offerings.
