FedEx Korea, a branch of the global courier company Federal Express Corporation, has been recognized as an "Excellent Company for Work-Life Balance in South Korea 2024." The award is organized by several government bodies and organizations, including the Ministry of Employment and Labor. FedEx was acknowledged for creating an inclusive work environment that prioritizes employee welfare and a healthy work-life balance.

The "Excellent Company for Work-Life Balance in South Korea" initiative began this year with participation from various entities such as the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korean Employers Federation, Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Korea Federation of SMEs. Companies are evaluated based on innovative policies to improve employees' work-life balance through flexible working hours, annual leave policies, reduced working hours, work-parenting support systems, corporate culture among other criteria. FedEx received high marks for its comprehensive employee welfare system that includes flexible working arrangements and programs supporting parents.
