Back-to-school shopping often comes with significant expenses, ranging from computers to basic supplies. Credit cards can be a useful tool for managing these costs while earning rewards. Here are some credit card options that might benefit those preparing for the new school year.

The Ink Business Cash Credit Card is recommended for purchases at office supply stores, offering "5% cash back on up to $25,000 in combined purchases at office supply stores and internet, cable, and phone services." This card has no annual fee and provides purchase protection and extended warranty protection.

For Amazon shoppers, the Prime Visa offers "5% cash back on all Amazon and Whole Foods purchases." The card requires a Prime subscription but has no additional annual fee. It also includes purchase protection and extended warranty benefits.

Capital One's Venture Rewards Credit Card and Venture X Rewards Credit Card provide "unlimited 2 miles per dollar on all purchases," making them versatile choices for general back-to-school spending. These cards have respective annual fees of $95 and $395.

For those who prefer cash back without an annual fee, the Citi Double Cash Card offers "unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases: 1% when you buy and 1% as you pay."

Lastly, if eligible U.S. Dell purchases are part of your plan, The Business Platinum Card from American Express provides up to "$400 annual statement credit toward eligible U.S. Dell purchases each calendar year."

As families prepare for the upcoming school year, these credit card options can help manage expenses while maximizing rewards.
