Boeing has announced a $1 million donation to support wildfire recovery and relief efforts in the Los Angeles area. This contribution will be directed through Boeing and the Boeing Charitable Trust to aid various organizations in their relief activities.

The funding is allocated as follows: $400,000 will go to the American Red Cross to help operate emergency shelters and provide essential services such as food, emotional support, and health care for those affected by the wildfires. The California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund will receive $300,000 to assist underserved and hard-to-reach communities with relief and recovery efforts.

Additionally, $200,000 is earmarked for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to facilitate the distribution of food and hygiene products to impacted areas. The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation will benefit from a $100,000 donation intended for equipping firefighters with necessary tools like emergency fire shelters, hydration backpacks, wildland brush tools, along with other essential items needed for mental health support, sustenance, and shelter.
