The 2025 Paris Air Show has concluded with numerous orders placed by major aircraft manufacturers including Airbus, ATR, Boeing, and Embraer. The event was overshadowed by the crash of Air India Flight 171. However, it still remains significant in the aviation industry.
The Paris Air Show, a major trade show held every odd-numbered year, saw Boeing slightly ahead with 593 total orders compared to Airbus's 571 for the year. Airbus secured the highest number of orders at the show itself with 250 confirmed sales and options for an additional 156 aircraft. These included models such as the A220s and A320neo family jets.
Embraer followed Airbus with 77 orders while Boeing recorded only 41 new orders during the event due to its focus on supporting the AI171 investigation. Boeing’s single order came from Japan's All Nippon Airways for a combination of Boeing 787-9s and Boeing 737 MAX 8s.
