Breeze Airways, a Utah-based low-cost airline, is set to expand its operations significantly this spring and summer. The airline announced plans to introduce services from three new airports by midyear and add over a dozen new routes to its growing network.

The expansion will commence in May with the launch of Breeze's first flights from Memphis International Airport in Tennessee and Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport in New York. Several weeks later, the airline will introduce nonstop flights from Albany International Airport in New York.

Breeze Airways aims to increase its presence along the East Coast, focusing on Southeastern airports from the Carolinas to Florida. Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina will benefit most from this expansion, with five new routes launching between late April and early June. These include nonstop flights to destinations such as New York state, the Florida Panhandle, and Orlando.

In South Carolina, Charleston and Greenville will see a total of six new routes as part of this network expansion. Breeze Airways' CEO David Neeleman stated: "We see great demand and opportunity for our premium product offering in secondary markets across the country."

The list of new routes includes:

- Albany to Charleston International Airport starting June 13.

- Albany to Raleigh-Durham beginning June 5.

- Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport to Charleston commencing May 30.

- Charleston to Rochester starting May 8.

- John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Portland International Jetport beginning May 2.

- Southwest Florida International Airport to Greenville-Spartanburg starting May 1.

- Pittsburgh International Airport to Greenville-Spartanburg commencing May 1.

- Westchester County Airport to Greenville-Spartanburg beginning May 2.

- Memphis to Raleigh-Durham starting May 9.

- Memphis to Tampa launching on May 7.

- Orlando International Airport to Raleigh-Durham commencing on May 9.

- Pensacola International Airport to Raleigh-Durham starting April 30.

- Rochester-Raleigh-Durham beginning on May 9.

Many of these routes cater to popular summer beach destinations in the Southeast and connect with locations in the Northeast where Breeze has been expanding. This announcement follows news that Breeze completed its first profitable quarter at the end of 2024.

Additionally, Breeze hopes for approval by spring for its first international service, potentially targeting vacation spots in Mexico or the Caribbean. The airline also plans a seasonal route between Ohio's Akron-Canton Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
