Ryan Gumm, Senior Vice President – Flight Operations | Delta Air Lines

Allison Ausband, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Delta Air Lines, oversees the company's global talent management and HR service delivery functions. She supports the 100,000 employees who contribute to Delta's operations.

Delta has been connecting the world for a century, largely due to its dedicated workforce. Employees like pilots, flight attendants, customer service agents, and technicians play crucial roles in maintaining this connection. They are supported by professionals who plan and solve challenges alongside frontline leaders.

Atlanta-based flight attendant Frances McGee exemplifies this dedication. She shared her thoughts on her role during a conversation at Delta's Flight Attendant Training Center in Atlanta. "Connecting with people," she said, is her favorite part of the job. "I've made so many friends here," she added.

Frances's commitment extends to mentoring new flight attendants, helping them understand what it means to serve Delta customers: "We want to treat them as if they are in our homes," she explained.

Reflecting on Delta's centennial anniversary and past challenges such as bankruptcy and the COVID-19 pandemic, Frances expressed optimism about the future: "I try to pass the torch to the new generation... I'm so excited to see what the future brings."

Ausband shares this sentiment about Delta's journey and prospects.
