Arkiabegan has launched its inaugural service from Tel Aviv to New York JFK, marking a new long-haul airline route for the United States. The service began on February 8, utilizing a 4.7-year-old A330-900 aircraft leased from Iberojet. Arkia's collaboration with TechAir aims to offer competitive fares due to reduced competition caused by the ongoing conflict. However, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines plan to resume their services in March and April, respectively.

The flight is currently available for booking until June 30 and operates three times a week. When United and Delta return, there will be 246 departures between Tel Aviv and New York JFK/Newark in May, a record number of flights for this route.

Breeze Airways has initiated 11 new routes over two days, between February 5 and 7. These routes are served twice weekly, with six originating from Tweed New Haven to various destinations including Charleston and Sarasota. On four of these routes, Breeze faces direct competition from Avelo Airlines. Additionally, Breeze launched other routes such as Fort Myers-South Bend and Orlando-Gulfport/Biloxi.

Allegiant Air commenced its Pittsburgh to Phoenix Sky Harbor route on February 7, marking it as the airline's tenth longest route at 1,576 nautical miles. This twice-weekly service adds Allegiant as the third carrier on this route alongside American Airlines and Southwest Airlines.

Saudia has introduced its first Neom Bay to London Gatwick flight using an Airbus A320ceo configured with low capacity seating arrangements. This shift from Heathrow aims to better utilize Heathrow slots while improving route performance.

Gol has resumed non-stop flights between Brasília and Bogotá after a hiatus since Avianca last served the market in 2013. The Brazilian airline began this service on February 4 using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with initial thrice-weekly flights set to increase by the end of March.

These developments reflect ongoing changes in global airline networks as carriers adjust their offerings in response to market conditions.
