JetBlue Airways is celebrating its 25th anniversary by unveiling a special livery dedicated to its crewmembers. The airline, which began operations on February 11, 2000, at John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City, has grown significantly over the past quarter-century.

The new livery, named BlueUnity, features images of JetBlue's pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and maintenance workers painted on the tail of an Airbus A321 aircraft. This unique design pays tribute to more than 23,000 crewmembers who contribute to the airline's operations. JetBlue CEO Joanna Geraghty remarked on the significance of this initiative: "Building a unique culture focused on caring for the crewmembers was always core to the JetBlue model, and this new livery speaks to exactly that."

The concept for BlueUnity originated from Ray Mathew, a JetBlue employee. The design includes a tagline that reads "Honoring the fly-est crew in the biz." The aircraft bearing this special livery is registered as N970JB and participated in one of JetBlue's celebratory flights from New York to Fort Lauderdale.

The Airbus A321 featuring BlueUnity has been part of JetBlue's fleet since November 2016. It accommodates 200 passengers with a mix of standard economy and 'Even More Space' seats. Prior to receiving its new paint scheme at Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon, it carried the name 'Once Upon A Blue' with JetBlue's standard livery.

JetBlue emphasizes that every workgroup within the company plays an essential role in facilitating travel experiences for customers. As part of its anniversary celebrations, passengers were treated to surprises and giveaways at Terminal 5 in New York.
