The 1 Hotel Seattle, located in the South Lake Union area, is preparing to open its doors on April 22. Reservations for this luxury property are now available online, with room rates starting at $400 per night during the opening weekend, plus a $20-per-night amenity fee.

Barry Sternlicht, founder of 1 Hotels and chairman of SH Hotels & Resorts — soon to be Starwood Hotels — commented on the new venture: "Seattle has always been a city that values sustainability, innovation, and connection to nature. With 1 Hotel Seattle, we've created a property that not only reflects the city's natural surroundings but also champions our mission to redefine what luxury hospitality can be through sustainable practices."

The hotel occupies the building formerly known as Pan Pacific Hotel and offers 153 rooms, including 45 suites. Each room features expansive picture windows, large soaking tubs, yoga mats, moss-inspired art, and natural reclaimed wood accents as a nod to the Pacific Northwest. The accommodations are pet-friendly and come equipped with dog beds and bowls.

Upon arrival at the hotel lobby, guests will encounter a green living wall and a large fireplace surrounded by tiles crafted by a local ceramics studio. An adjacent landscaped outdoor terrace is also available for relaxation. For transportation needs or sightseeing trips to nearby landmarks like Pike Place Market and the Space Needle, guests can use the hotel's fully electric Audi Q8 E-Tron car on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fitness amenities include Peloton bikes and resistance treadmills in The Field House fitness center. Culinary offerings feature La Loba restaurant on the ground floor with flavors inspired by Barcelona, the Mediterranean region, and Japan.

Beyond Seattle's borders, 1 Hotels maintains properties in various global destinations such as New York City, London, San Francisco, Hawaii among others.
