Delta has incorporated its brand colors into the warm color palette, using natural elements to reflect its history.
Lavatories feature bright walls and celestial sky patterns, with flooring made from wood colors and non-slip materials. The overall design aims to mirror customers' lifestyles.
Michael Steinfield, Delta's Manager of Onboard Products, noted improvements in durability for carpets and flooring: "Textured flooring has also been debuted in galleys to ensure safe and stable passages for cabins and crew."
Passengers can expect enhanced comfort with memory foam seats tested rigorously by staff. Premium class seat coverings have been upgraded for better comfort and breathability. New features include wireless charging in Delta One cabins alongside traditional USB outlets.
For improved onboard entertainment, Delta has added an accessibility mode for route maps with larger fonts designed for low-vision passengers. Parise commented: "As we embark on our next century of flying, this refreshed cabin interior infuses utility with beauty to create an atmosphere that feels fresh, elevated, and timeless while reflecting our customers’ evolving tastes and expectations."
Flight attendants will benefit from new crew bunks featuring foam mattresses for better rest during long-haul flights. All newly delivered Airbus A350s will have the updated designs.
Delta plans a less-dense layout for upcoming deliveries, reducing capacity from 306 to 275 seats while increasing premium seating options like Delta One from 32 to 40 seats.
