Air Transat | Air Transat

Air Transat, owned by tour operator Transat, is Canada's largest leisure airline, typically carrying around five million passengers annually. According to ch-aviation, its all-Airbus fleet consists of 44 aircraft: 19 A321LRs, 14 A330-200s, eight A321ceos, two A330-300s, and one A320 leased from European operator Smartwings. Its first A321XLR is expected to arrive this year.

The two upcoming European routes discussed in this article were announced earlier but warrant further examination.

Cirium Diio data shows that 62 airports will see Air Transat's aircraft this year. The airline's geographic focus changes based on seasonal demand. Comparing Q1 2025 (January-March) with Q3 2025 (July-September), there will be a 12% increase in flights during the summer months.
