FedEx introduces 'Collaborative Shipping Tool' to streamline import processes

Shanghai, China, February 24, 2025 -- FedEx, one of the world's largest express transportation companies, today announced the launch of its new "Collaborative Transportation Tool. " This digital tool enables importers and shippers to seamlessly collaborate in creating shipment air waybills, thereby simplifying the import process for customers and enhancing overall efficiency in global cargo transportation.

In 2025, global merchandise trade is expected to grow by 3%, with imports into Asia projected to increase by 5.1%. China also maintains significant potential for import growth. In 2024, China's total imports reached RMB 18.39 trillion, and it is expected to remain the world's second-largest importer.
