FedEx reduces transit time for imports to Kyoto Prefecture by one day

Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has announced an enhancement in its transportation services for import customers in certain regions of Kyoto Prefecture, including Kyotanabe City, Yawata City, Kizugawa City, Seika Town in Soraku District, and Ide Town in Tsuzuki District. Customers in these areas will now receive packages arriving in Japan on weekdays one day earlier.

This service improvement applies to customers importing from Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe using FedEx International Priority Express (IPE), FedEx International Priority (IP), FedEx International Priority Freight (IPF), FedEx International Economy (IE), and FedEx International Economy Freight (IEF).

Last year, FedEx reduced transit times for import shipments in parts of Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Import customers there began receiving their shipments one day earlier on weekdays as well.
