JetBlue Adds New Flights To Manchester-Boston Following Spirit Airlines' Exit

JetBlue already operates to more than 100 destinations, but this week, it announced it had room for at least one more by adding services from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. JetBlue said this would be the only nonstop air service between Manchester, New Hampshire, and New York City.

JetBlue expands with flights to New York City

On Thursday, JetBlue announced it will launch new, daily summer-seasonal flights between Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). This announcement came just one month after JetBlue's inaugural flights from Manchester to Orlando, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale.

The service will be operated by an Airbus A320 featuring JetBlue's signature service, including complimentary name-brand snacks and drinks, high-speed Fly- Fi internet and seatback entertainment at every seat. According to ch- aviation, JetBlue has 130 Airbus A320-200s, as well as:

44 Airbus A220-300s

63 Airbus A321-200s

37 Airbus A321neos

38 Embraer E190s

More access to JetBlue's JFK focus city network

The new JetBlue service offers travelers in the region a seamless connection to JetBlue's extensive JFK focus city network and its global airline partners, providing greater access to top domestic and international destinations. The service is timed to make those seamless connections at JFK, while a late evening return allows travelers to have a full day of business or leisure before returning to New Hampshire.

JetBlue flight 971 will depart Manchester-Boston Regional Airport at 07:00 and arrive in New York at 08:10.

Flight 972 will leave John F. Kennedy International at 21:59 and arrive in New Hampshire at 23:28.

JetBlue Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships Dave Jehn said the new route will make it easier than ever for travelers in New Hampshire and greater New England to get to the Big Apple and beyond. He added:

"Whether it's a quick getaway to New York City or a seamless connection for a sun-soaked trip to the Caribbean, this service provides customers with a convenient and comfortable travel experience from their home region. "

JetBlue is New York's Hometown Airline, and for a limited time, passengers can take advantage of special $49 one-way fares for flights on the new route only available for purchase online. The fares must be booked by March 2 for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday travel between June 12 and October 25, 2025.

JetBlue welcomes plans for air traffic controllers
