The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation has issued a legal notice for 10 Roads Express drivers affected by the Teamsters union's recent strike order. The strike impacts hundreds of drivers nationwide, and 10 Roads Express is a major contractor for the U.S. Postal Service.

The notice informs workers of their rights, emphasizing that drivers can resign their union memberships and continue working. It also provides information on avoiding potential fines and punishments from union officials.

"The situation raises serious concerns for employees who believe there is much to lose from a union-ordered strike," the legal notice states. "That is why workers frequently contact the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation to learn how they can avoid fines and other union discipline for continuing to report to work. "

The notice highlights workers' rights to resign union membership, revoke union dues check-offs, and initiate a petition for a "decertification election" to remove the union. Sample letters are provided for these purposes.

Mark Mix, President of the National Right to Work Foundation, commented on the situation: "Teamsters union officials’ propaganda surrounding this strike hides the fact that many workers may simply want to continue working to support themselves and their families, something that they have an absolute right to do no matter what Teamsters bosses may say. "

Mix further explained concerns about national bargaining efforts by Teamsters: "Teamsters officials are also unlikely to acknowledge the fact that they are demanding that 10 Roads Express management bargain with them on a national level and not in individual workplaces... "
