Provo Municipal Airport | Official Website

In January 2025, the city of Provo, Utah, introduced a new campaign slogan on its airport's website: "Anywhere you want to go, Fly Provo." The slogan aims to promote Provo Municipal Airport (PVU) as a hub for both vacation and business travel in Utah. This initiative seeks to build on the record growth and milestone achievements of the 2024 season.

Provo Municipal Airport is located nearly 4,500 feet above sea level (1,370 meters) and sits 45 minutes south of Salt Lake City, Utah's capital. According to the airport, it began as a dirt airstrip in the 1940s but has since evolved into an important provider of air travel services for the greater Salt Lake City area.

The year 2024 was remarkable for PVU. According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Provo Municipal Airport experienced a growth rate of 481% in passengers boarding planes to fly out of the airport. This increase translates from 77,217 passengers in 2020 to 448,972 in 2024.
