Emirates and Trip.com have formalized an expanded partnership aimed at exploring growth opportunities in new markets and customer segments. The agreement was signed at ITB Berlin by Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales & Country Management for Emirates, and CT Ooi, VP of Flights Business for Trip.com Group.

The next phase of the partnership will focus on expanding Trip.com's global presence through strategic partnerships and activations, leveraging Emirates' extensive international network. Promotional efforts will be coordinated in Asian and European markets, which are strategic focuses for both companies.

Nabil Sultan commented: “We very much look forward to extending the breadth and depth of our cooperation with Trip.com. The next phase not only strengthens our position to provide more of our products to Trip.com’s customer base but also unlocks traveller demand for air and hotel packages, enables us to integrate offers across both of our loyalty programmes and tap into a variety of consumer segments with specialised promotions. ”

CT Ooi said: “At Trip.com, we are excited to take our partnership to new heights, integrating a wide range of flight offerings with an expanded portfolio of hotels and travel services. By combining Emirates’ world-class network with Trip.com's innovative travel ecosystem, we are creating more opportunities for travellers to access exclusive flight and hotel packages, tailored promotions, and enhanced loyalty rewards. ”

The collaboration will involve product integration and exclusive promotions by combining various Emirates flight offerings with Trip.com's growing hotel and travel services portfolio. There will also be joint campaigns aimed at driving measurable growth in key global markets while incorporating value-added services for the Trip.com Rewards and Emirates Skywards programmes.

Focused initiatives include cross-promotional opportunities targeting segments like students, youth, and cruise customers. Additionally, Emirates will offer its Chauffeur Drive service on the Trip.com platform.

Emirates first partnered with Trip.com in 2020 to expand its reach in China and subsequently across Asia through joint marketing promotions aimed at boosting sales via Trip.com's online platforms.
