Flying Food Group (FFG) expressed its appreciation for its long-standing partnership with Japan Airlines (JAL) during an appreciation dinner in Los Angeles on February 25. The announcement was made in a March 1 post on LinkedIn.

According to the LinkedIn post, Flying Food Group celebrated its enduring partnership with Japan Airlines at an appreciation dinner hosted by JAL at the Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Los Angeles. The event recognized the collaboration between the two companies in delivering high-quality airline catering services. Key representatives from both organizations attended, including Linus Lee, Vice President & Regional Manager, Southwestern Region, U.S.A., and Natsuko Yamaguchi, LAX Station Manager, who welcomed the Flying Food Group team.

The leadership of Flying Food Group was also present, with CEO David Cotton, CFO Wolfgang Hoenle, General Manager Lucy Osoro, and other team members joining the celebration. The gathering reinforced the company’s commitment to excellence and its valued relationship with Japan Airlines. "Thank you, Japan Airlines, for your continued trust and collaboration. Here's to many more years of partnership!" read the post.

JAL was honored with the "WORLD CLASS 2025" award for the fourth consecutive year and received the inaugural "WORLD CLASS LOUNGE" award at the 2024 APEX/IFSA EXPO, acknowledging its outstanding standards in service, guest experience, and sustainability.

Founded in 1983 by Sue Ling Gin, Flying Food Group provides food catering services to major airlines including Air France, Aer Lingus, Lufthansa, Japan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Swiss Air and TAP Air Portugal. The company is headquartered in Chicago.
