The transatlantic corridor between Europe and North America remains one of the most lucrative markets in commercial aviation, with London and New York standing out as a particularly valuable and competitive city pair. Currently, seven carriers serve this route on a non-stop basis, with five operating flights between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The other two connections are:

- Norse Atlantic Airways: London Gatwick (LGW) - New York JFK.

- United Airlines: London Heathrow - Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

The five airlines directly connecting London Heathrow Airport with New York JFK are American Airlines, British Airways (which also flies seasonally from Gatwick to JFK), Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, and Virgin Atlantic. Each carrier offers its own competitive business class product. This article compares these offerings using data from aeroLOPA.

American Airlines

According to Cirium, an aviation analytics company, American Airlines has 119 departures scheduled from London Heathrow to New York John F. Kennedy International this month, averaging almost four per day. Passengers traveling in American Airlines' Flagship Business cabin can expect comfortable bedding, sustainable amenity kits, and chef-inspired dining.

The majority of these departures are operated by Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, featuring 37 Flagship Business flatbeds laid out in a four-abreast 1-2-1 configuration for direct aisle access. There are two different setups: forward-facing Collins Aerospace seats or alternating Concept D seats.

For the larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which accounts for some flights this month, there are 52 Flagship Business flatbeds arranged similarly but all facing forward.

British Airways

As the UK's flag carrier, British Airways has a strong presence on the route between Heathrow and JFK with an impressive schedule of departures this month. BA's long-haul business class is known as Club World offering priority check-in and boarding along with luxury bedding among other perks.

All aircraft used on this route feature new Club Suite flatbeds arranged in a favorable four-abreast configuration providing direct aisle access for every passenger.

Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines operates two daily flights from Heathrow to JFK totaling up to flights split between Boeing 767-400ERs Airbus A330-200s and A330-900s Their long-haul business class known as Delta One includes lounge access priority ground services chef-curated dining flexible tickets among others

JetBlue

A relative newcomer JetBlue operates two daily flights from Heathrow to JFK using Airbus A321LR twinjets Their Mint business class features extra space in- front row adaptive foam cushions wireless charging dedicated storage areas specially curated meal services designed around sleep schedules

Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic operates numerous non-stop flights between London Heathrow and New York John F Kennedy International using various aircraft types including A350-1000s A330-900s Boeing Dreamliners among others Their long-haul business- class cabin called Upper Class provides access to their Clubhouse lounge at Terminal enhanced baggage allowance welcome drink upon boarding luxury fine- dining options pre-order choices priority check-in security access
