Jackie Chan, the internationally acclaimed martial artist, actor, stuntman, and philanthropist from Hong Kong, is not only known for his impressive cinematic achievements with over 150 movies but also for his passion for aviation. Chan has acquired a fleet of private jets over the years, notably the Embraer Legacy 650 and Legacy 500, both renowned for their luxury, advanced technology, and performance capabilities.

Chan's interest in private aviation began in 2012 when he became the first customer in China for the Embraer Legacy 650. This acquisition marked a significant milestone for both the actor and the private aviation sector in China. In 2016, Chan expanded his fleet by adding the Embraer Legacy 500, becoming the first Chinese customer of this aircraft model as well. His relationship with Embraer also extended to his role as a brand ambassador, reflecting a deep-seated trust and appreciation for the company's aircraft. Guan Dongyuan, president of Embraer China during Chan's purchases, noted that "the actor's choice of smaller Embraer jets was a boost for midsize business jet sector and could start a shift for a country that is known for its preference for bigger business jets. "

The Embraer Legacy 650 is an evolution of the Legacy 600 with enhanced range and performance capabilities. It boasts a spacious three-zone cabin capable of accommodating up to fourteen passengers depending on configuration. The aircraft features advanced connectivity options with high-speed internet access alongside an state-of-the-art entertainment system equipped with high- definition displays.
