The Bombardier Global 7500, an ultra-long-range private jet manufactured by Canadian company Bombardier, has become a popular choice among celebrities due to its luxury and performance. This aircraft is the largest purpose-built private jet globally, boasting a range of 14,300 kilometers and a top speed of Mach 0.94.

Actor Matt Damon owns one such aircraft with the registration N444WT. The jet is registered under Whiskey Tango LLC in North Sioux City, South Dakota. According to Celebrity Private Jet Tracker, Damon used his Global 7500 for 75 flights last year, frequently flying from airports like Van Nuys Airport (VNY), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and San Diego International Airport (SAN). He also visited unique destinations such as Castaway Island Seaplane Base in Fiji and Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia in Greece.

Kylie Jenner is another celebrity who owns a Bombardier Global 7500. Her aircraft bears the registration N810KJ and is registered with her company Rise and Shine Air LLC in Wilmington, Delaware. Acquired in June 2020, Jenner's jet was among the first four produced. Despite criticism for short flights between Van Nuys and Camarillo that could be completed by car within an hour, she continues to use her private jet for these trips. Jenner's travels this year have included visits to London Stansted Airport and Paris Le Bourget.

Other notable owners include former Formula One driver Niki Lauda and Australian business magnate Andrew Forrest. Bernard Arnault, CEO of Louis Vuitton, famously sold his Global 7500 due to privacy concerns over flight tracking on social media platforms.

The Global 7500 features advanced design elements such as a transonic wing and General Electric Passport engines that are more fuel-efficient than previous models. Its cabin can accommodate up to 19 passengers with various configurations including an en-suite bedroom and entertainment suite.

In terms of cost, purchasing a new Bombardier Global 7500 ranges from $75 million to $78 million as of 2023. Operating costs vary depending on usage but can reach over $3 million annually for frequent flyers.

The popularity of the Bombardier Global 7500 among high-profile individuals underscores its appeal as both a status symbol and practical mode of luxurious travel.
