Indianapolis International Airport has temporarily added a dinosaur exhibit to its Civic Plaza, featuring a 33-foot-long Tyrannosaurus rex cast known as "Bucky the T. rex." This installation celebrates the centennial of The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, which is recognized for its extensive collection and research on dinosaur fossils. Bucky will remain at the airport until April 11.
Salt Lake City International Airport recently unveiled an Allosaurus fragilis cast named "Ally the Allosaurus," gifted by the Natural History Museum of Utah. Ally, measuring 30 feet long and 15 feet tall, can be found at Concourse B's entrance. The real skull is displayed at Dinosaur National Monument in Utah.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport features five ice age skeletons along Concourse B through a partnership with the Cincinnati Museum Center. Among these are replicas of a mastodon and other prehistoric creatures like a saber-toothed tiger.
