Yunchu, a new beauty and personal care brand developed by Xiamen Airlines Media Technology Co., Ltd., was officially launched on January 3, 2025. The brand aims to provide aesthetic solutions tailored for frequent travelers and urban residents. Yunchu's launch event, themed "Enjoy Your Shining Journey," marked the introduction of its first set of products.

Yunchu focuses on addressing skincare needs identified through research involving flight attendants, who often experience skin issues such as dryness and sensitivity due to high pressure environments. The brand emphasizes "purity and nature," combining makeup with nourishment in lightweight and convenient forms.

During product development, Yunchu conducted extensive surveys with target customers and involved hundreds of flight attendants in testing phases. Products underwent rigorous trials across various demographics before receiving positive feedback. Collaboration with experts ensured strict quality control over raw materials and production processes.

Five initial products were introduced at the launch: a face mask, base cream, cushion compact, mascara, and lipstick. These items use natural plant extracts enhanced by technology to improve efficacy. For instance, the Re-energizing Purifying Essence Oil Duo Mask combines daffodil bulb extract with plant oils for skin nourishment.

The domestic beauty industry has seen growth recently, supported by scientific research backing brands like Yunchu. At the event, a joint laboratory between Xiamen University’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Xiamen Airlines Media Technology Co., Ltd. was unveiled to support ongoing research in beauty product innovation.

Experts from various fields participated in discussions during the launch event about beauty trends and scientific advancements underpinning Yunchu's offerings.

Xiamen Airlines is expanding its business ecosystem beyond aviation into areas like healthcare and cultural tourism. The company leverages this expansion to introduce new business models through subsidiaries like Xiamen Airlines Media Technology Co., Ltd.

The Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce collaborated with Xiamen Airlines to initiate the "Global Fujian Products" project alongside Yunchu's debut. This initiative seeks to promote Fujian-branded products globally while integrating digitalization into service consumption.
