In 2025, approximately 40 US airports will offer nonstop flights to Europe, serviced by over 40 airlines from the US, Europe, and other regions. This includes carriers like Air Tahiti, Emirates, and Singapore Airlines with fifth-freedom traffic rights.

Spanish airline Iberia is set to begin service to Orlando International Airport in winter 2025. It will become the ninth US destination for Iberia and marks the first time the airline will serve two destinations in Florida during winter. Iberia ranks as the eleventh largest for Europe-US departures and eighth among European operators.

Iberia's new route between Madrid and Orlando starts on October 26, aligning with the northern aviation winter season according to IATA slot schedules. The service will operate four times weekly using an Airbus A330-200 aircraft configured for 288 passengers. "I'm sure it'll make my Weekly Routes article," a source mentioned regarding this addition.

The flights are scheduled with IB339 departing Madrid at 11:30 AM and arriving in Orlando at 3:45 PM local time after a block time of ten hours and fifteen minutes. The return flight, IB340, leaves Orlando at 5:20 PM, landing back in Madrid at 7:55 AM the next day after eight hours and thirty-five minutes.

Iberia joins IberoJet on the Madrid-Orlando route. IberoJet began its service in 2024 but operates only on Saturdays from June through mid-September. According to booking data from 2024, around 63,000 round-trip passengers traveled between these two cities.

As of March 26th, several European airlines operate out of Orlando International Airport. These include Aer Lingus from Dublin and Manchester; Air France resuming services from Paris; British Airways flying daily from London Gatwick; Discover offering flights from Frankfurt and Munich; Icelandair connecting via Keflavik; Norse Atlantic from London Gatwick; Virgin Atlantic serving London Heathrow and Manchester routes.

There is speculation that Turkish Airlines might announce a service to Orlando soon, though no official confirmation has been made yet.

Additionally, Delta operates routes from Orlando to Amsterdam since 2018 and recently added a second route to London Heathrow starting last October.
