Air India has announced the introduction of new customized AI Groups for bookings of 10 or more people. The announcement was made on X on March 31.

This initiative aims to provide cost-effective solutions for groups traveling together, ensuring affordability and convenience. The platform's user-friendly interface allows group coordinators to manage bookings efficiently, enhancing the overall travel planning experience.
As reported by Reuters, Air India has committed $400 million to refurbish the interiors of over half its fleet, targeting 67 planes, including 27 narrowbody Airbus A320neo and 40 widebody Boeing 787s and 777s. This investment aims to modernize the airline's offerings, providing passengers with enhanced comfort and updated amenities. The refurbishment is part of Air India's broader transformation plan under the Tata Group's ownership.
