EVA Air adding two more flights per week between Taipei and Seattle

EVA Air has announced the addition of two more flights per week between Taipei and Seattle, scheduled from June 2 to September 13, 2025. This increase will bring the total frequency to 12 flights per week. The announcement was made on X on March 21.

According to AeroRoutes, EVA Air is adjusting its summer 2025 schedule by increasing the Taipei–Seattle route frequency from 10 to 12 weekly flights. The airline plans to use Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft for this route, offering enhanced capacity and greater schedule flexibility. This expansion is part of EVA Air’s strategy to capture increased seasonal demand and strengthen its transpacific network amid rising international travel volumes.

As reported by PortCalls Asia, the additional flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday from Taipei as Flight BR 24, departing at 11:00 p.m. and arriving in Seattle at 7:20 p.m. the same day. The return service, Flight BR 23, will depart Seattle at 1:10 a.m. and arrive in Taipei at 4:50 a.m. two days later. This schedule aims to support business travelers and tourists seeking flexible transpacific options during peak travel months.

According to Focus Taiwan, Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration has reported a significant rebound in international air traffic in early 2025, with transpacific routes experiencing the highest growth. Monthly passenger traffic between Taiwan and the U.S. rose by 43.2% year-over-year as of February 2025. EVA Air’s increased flights to Seattle are aligned with this trend, aiming to capture market share in a recovering aviation sector.
