Air France has opened a newly expanded business-class lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, according to a company announcement. The revamped lounge, situated in Terminal 2E, Hall K—where many of the airline's long-haul flights originate—has undergone a significant transformation, including a nearly 10,000-square-foot expansion.

With additional capacity for 200 seats, a restaurant-style dining area, and a spa offering facial treatments, the updated lounge aims to enhance the pre-flight experience for passengers flying on Air France or its SkyTeam alliance partners, such as Delta Air Lines.

The new Air France lounge spans three levels and covers about 30,000 square feet, similar in size to Delta's Sky Club at Los Angeles International Airport. Air France unveiled the changes, presenting the lounge adorned in the airline's trademark colors of blue, white, and red, accented with oak wood and "metallic champagne" details.

The newly renovated facility accommodates a total of 638 customers, which marks a 45% increase in capacity compared to its previous state. It also includes a "petit salon" for work and relaxation, providing coworking tables and a meeting room.

Top-tier Flying Blue Ultimate members have access to a dedicated space with restaurant-style dining and panoramic runway views. The menu offers French dishes by Alain Ducasse’s restaurant group, including beef cheek piperade and fish fillet with lemon sauce.

Air France described the new space as celebrating "French travel excellence," offering "even more spaces, services and comfort for customers to enjoy before a flight or when they have a connection."

Access to the lounge is available to passengers flying on Air France-operated long-haul business-class tickets beyond the Schengen Area, passengers flying in a similar class on a SkyTeam partner, or SkyTeam Elite Plus members.

The expansion is part of Air France's effort to enhance its premium offerings, with the recent unveiling of new La Premier first-class suites and updates to long-haul business-class seats at the forefront.

Sean Cudahy of The Points Guy noted the collaboration with Delta, Air France's SkyTeam partner from the United States, which has also been expanding its premium lounge offerings.
