Lufthansa has announced the launch of codeshare flights with ITA Airways, expanding travel options across more than 100 European routes. The announcement was made on X on March 30.

According to the Lufthansa Group Newsroom, ITA Airways has relocated its operations to the Lufthansa Group terminal areas at Frankfurt and Munich airports. This strategic move aims to enhance passenger convenience by facilitating seamless connections between ITA Airways and Lufthansa Group flights. The integration is part of a broader effort to streamline operations and improve the overall travel experience for customers.

As reported by Simple Flying, the codeshare agreement between Lufthansa Group and ITA Airways encompasses over 100 European routes. This partnership allows passengers to book flights operated by either airline under a single ticket, thereby enhancing scheduling flexibility and expanding travel options across the continent. The collaboration signifies a substantial expansion of the airlines' combined network.
