Federal Express Corporation is reinforcing its Asia Pacific leadership with key appointments to enhance its business and talent strategy. Marcus Balzereit, Rumana Rahman, and Shanker Venkateswaran are taking up significant roles to support the company's goals in this dynamic region.

Marcus Balzereit becomes the Senior Vice President for APAC Sales & Solutions. With over 25 years in logistics, he will lead a team of 2,000, aiming to boost revenue and expand market presence through stronger customer relationships and innovative solutions.

Rumana Rahman, with 24 years in human resources across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, joins as Vice President for APAC Human Resources. Rahman will focus on talent development to align workforce strategies with an evolving market landscape.

Shanker Venkateswaran, the new Vice President for APAC Planning & Engineering, brings over 20 years of experience in business, technology, and operations. He is tasked with transforming the FedEx ground network through design and automation to meet market demands efficiently.

Kawal Preet, president of Asia Pacific at FedEx, highlighted the importance of these appointments, stating, “Building a future-ready team in Asia Pacific is a top priority. With these new appointments, we’re further strengthening our commitment to anticipating customer needs, driving market growth, and empowering our teams with the agility and innovation required to make a lasting impact in this fast-evolving region.”
