The Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner marked its seventh anniversary on April 3, commemorating the first revenue-generating flight by Singapore Airlines from Changi to Bangkok. Currently, 10 airlines operate this largest variant of the Dreamliner. Singapore Airlines, the launch customer, holds the largest fleet with 26 units. Meanwhile, United Airlines operates the longest nonstop route of the 787-10 from Chicago O'Hare to Tokyo Haneda.

Despite being the largest Dreamliner variant, the 787-10 has the shortest range within the series, with a potential range of 6,330 nautical miles. Importantly, its maximum takeoff weight will increase this year, enhancing its payload and distance capabilities.

In examining the longest nonstop flights operated by the 787-10, data indicates that the route from Chicago O'Hare to Tokyo Haneda operated by United remains the longest. "United: Chicago to Tokyo," as noted by the airline, highlights that this service has a lengthy history of operations. Cirium Diio data reveals United initially utilized the 257-seat 787-9 on the route starting in July 2020, switching to the 318-seat 787-10 in March 2023. Currently, this service runs daily.

For other notable flights, EVA Air flies from Taipei Taoyuan to Seattle, KLM offers links from Amsterdam to destinations such as Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles, and Bogotá, and Korean Air connects Seoul Incheon to Rome Fiumicino. The exact flight paths of these routes may vary with geopolitical factors, such as avoiding Russian airspace.

Although the routes and their operators adapt to seasonal changes and logistical considerations, the 787-10 continues to be a workhorse on several significant long-haul connections across the globe.
