Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, a significant hub for flights to Alaska, offers various long-haul international routes predominantly operated by foreign carriers, alongside Delta Air Lines. Popular destinations include Taipei, Taiwan, and London Heathrow Airport.

Alaska Airlines holds the largest market share at the Seattle airport, focusing primarily on domestic routes and certain international destinations in the Caribbean and Central America. In April, notable long-haul flights include Singapore Airlines' route to Singapore, which spans 8,068 miles. Flights to Dubai and Doha are some of the other lengthy routes from Seattle.

Among the longest routes from Seattle is the Singapore flight operated by Singapore Airlines on an Airbus A350-900, scheduled every other day. "The longest scheduled commercial flights in the world," are also operated by Singapore Airlines' A350-900ULR variant, showing its considerable reach.

Taipei is a key destination from Seattle, serviced by EVA Air, China Airlines, Delta, and Starlux, with 125 flights in April. These routes utilize aircraft like Boeing 787s, 777-300ERs, and A350-900s. The Shanghai route by Delta Air Lines uses the A330-900neo, marking a notable addition to long-haul routes.

Around 4,000 miles from Seattle, there are flights to Seoul by Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, and Delta Air Lines, averaging 5,217 miles. Frankfurt is another destination with flights operated by Lufthansa and Condor, notably using the Airbus A340.

The London-Heathrow route is one of the busiest, operated by British Airways, Delta, and Virgin Atlantic, offering 120 flights. Virgin Atlantic employs both the A330-900neo and Boeing 787-9, adding variety to the aircraft fleet serving the route.

Additional international flights under 4,000 miles include Reykjavik, with Icelandair using Boeing aircraft. "The longest non-stop destinations offered by Alaska Airlines are Guanacaste in Costa Rica, Nassau in the Bahamas, and Belize City in Belize."

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is noted as the busiest airport in the US Pacific Northwest. In 2024, Alaska Airlines had a 49% market share in Seattle, with Delta Air Lines holding 20%. Alaska is headquartered at the SeaTac location and operates a mix of Boeing and Embraer aircraft. Its acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines illustrates its growing market presence in the US airline industry.
