El mundialmente conocido jugador de fútbol y empresario Andrés Iniesta es el rostro de la nueva campaña "Champions of Business" de FedEx. La iniciativa busca resaltar a pequeñas y medianas empresas (pymes) que están contribuyendo significativamente a la industria del fútbol con innovación.

Iniesta está acompañado por Dan Vines, vicepresidente senior de ventas de FedEx en Europa, y Bex Smith, exjugadora de fútbol y empresaria. Juntos escucharon historias inspiradoras de las empresas incluidas en la lista de FedEx, elaborada en colaboración con The Financial Times. La campaña respaldada por The Financial Times incluyó una encuesta a 100 clubes europeos. Reveló que el 71% de los clubes considera que las pymes aportan un valor significativo, y un 47% de estos clubes ya trabajan con pymes como proveedores.

Andrés Iniesta comentó: “El fútbol no se trata solo de lo que sucede en el campo; también se trata de los esfuerzos detrás de escena de las empresas que innovan el sector y elevan el juego que amamos. Fue realmente inspirador escuchar cómo estas empresas están impactando y moldeando el futuro del fútbol.
